How Does The O-Shot® Work?

The O-Shot® procedure involves a small amount of blood being taken from your arm (similar a blood test) which is placed in a centrifuge where the plasma is then harvested. This plasma contains growth factors, which, when injected into the vagina, grow healthier vaginal tissue.

Although each woman’s experience may differ in some ways, many patients report:

Please be advised that results vary between patients according to age, medical condition, hormonal levels, and social habits. 65-70% of women get a good response with one treatment and 85-90% with a second treatment. Between 10-15 % of women perceive no change with treatment.

When will I see The O-Shot® results?

Are There Any Side Effects or Downtime With The O-Shot®?
There are typically no side effects or downtime. There may be a few drops of blood from the injection site. You can return to work, exercise, and any other activity on the same day (including sexual activity).
